Microsoft 365 - How to Login for the First Time

This document walks you step by step to reset your password in Microsoft 365. If you need further assistance with any of the steps below, please contact us (772) 264-4400.

1. Browse to https://www.office.com.

2. Click Sign in and enter your email address, click Next:

3. Enter your account password and click Sign in.

Note: Be sure to enter your entire email including the @ sign and domain.

4. Please reset your password to something only you know by following the on-screen prompts.

5. If prompted, set up 2-factor authentication. Follow the on-screen directions to do so. This will require installing the "Microsoft Authenticator" app on your smartphone.

6. After setting up one of the options, click Finish and you will be welcomed by Office 365. Congratulations, you have successfully signed into your Office 365 and you are all set.
